A university project for Life Healthcare created by a team of 4 people. The project entailed the creation of a marketing campaign intent on destigmatising mental health and combating toxic positivity.
I created the interactive website, videos and some of the Illustrations. The other group members were another digital designer (Ross Willis) a graphic designer (Agatka Mazus) and a Copywriter (Leah Niemand).
A university project in coordination with the real client - the Joyce Chevalier Centre. The NPO wanted a refreshed brand identity and strategy to make more revenue in order to pay for the support of the intellectually disabled they provide dignity to by providing them with employment.
Done by a team of 7 creatives and strategist as part of brand activation in the 4th semester of my degree.
I created this transmedia campaign as part of my tertiary education, focusing on user interface design and storytelling. I chose the South African spice brand Robertsons and envisioned a fictional collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios.
The campaign included a mobile game set in Skyrim, telling the story of a spice war. To produce the background graphics within two weeks, I utilised generative AI tools like Adobe Firefly and Stable Diffusion.
FiveWest, a licensed FSP in South Africa, employed me as an in-house UI designer. I developed user interfaces for both client-facing and employee dashboards on their Forex and Crypto platform.
This six-month project sharpened my ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate visual designs to non-designers, including stakeholders and software engineers.
Client wanted more publicity during the pandemic. I built them a new website in WIX studio, and through an effective SEO strategy, search rankings were organically brought to spot number one for the search terms "event hostesses cape town" (or "near me" if in device is in Cape Town).
Client has reported a strong influx in clients and models since the new Website was implemented in 2021.
